Ginny was nicknamed Skinny Ginny as a child. Blessed with knobby knees and a stick figure, names like High Pockets, Slim, Tall Glass of Water, and Stretch were also floated, but Skinny Ginny stuck.

Over the years, Ginny used her camera as the instrument to capture stolen moments of stillness. Formal instruction came from studying at SVA and ICP; informal training was gleaned from her time as an assistant and production manager to a celebrity photographer. Add fifteen years in marketing, the die was cast and an archive of imagery was developed.

Ginny resides in New York capturing and releasing images. Ginny’s love for children and animals is reflected in her work. Her favorite muses are her twins, Nicholas and Jade.
